Hi and thanks for visiting my auction. I've owned this rare and unusual convertible for a few years and driven it regularly. It has been extremely reliable and a lot of fun to drive. People are always asking what kind of car it is and comment on it's stylish looks and gorgeous interior when I'm cruising around with the top down. If you found this auction, you probably know the story of the TC. As you may know, only 7300 of these were manufactured over a three year period. These unique luxury two-seater sportscars were over $35,000 new! The body and beautifully hand-stitched leather interior was styled and assembled in Italy, the engine is Japanese (mitsubishi) and the rest of it is American. So... Italian style and design, Japanese economy and reliability and American comfort, ride, durability and convenience. You may notice that this one has a rear seat. I had it custom made in black leather to match the original interior. It is an actual car seat frame modified to fit exactly into the rear space and outfitted with two seat belts. The match and fit is so precise, it looks as if it is a four seat convertible from the factory. I believe it is the only four seat TC in exsistance. I use the ragtop a lot and it is now showing some age. The air-conditioner needs service and driver's side headlight has a small hole and crack in the lens. The odometer stopped working a year ago, so the mileage is slightly higher than it shows. The sporty 16" rims are from a Subaru WRX. I still have the original 15" lace fond metal Italian rims that came with the car, and they are included in the auction sale.
