I'ved owned this Tbird for the past 14 years but don't have time to enjoy it anymore. Cruise around as is or perfect for a restoration. See photos: Exterior paint is chipping in several places. Rear interior seats and backs are discolored. Carpet is faded. Rust spots in some places. On Oct-07-10 at 13:10:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is more info based on the questions I've received: The retractable top mechanism for the convertible top is working. The soft top is in fair shape at best - no leaks but it is fraying and has decay around the bottom where it meets the car. There are new belts, alternator (year old), distributor cap and distributor rotor. The tires have plenty of tread but plenty of dry rot as well. The car was on the road today for local and highway driving - up to 55-60 mph. The person who drove it said he felt the transmission wasn't kicking into high gear. Since car hasn't been used very much of late, it does need some attention. The buyer understands it is being sold AS IS.On Oct-09-10 at 08:44:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: I now have photos of the underside of the rear, as well as the soft top and roof open/trunk. Please email if you'd like me to send them. A couple of years ago I changed one of the exhaust manifold gaskets, now the other side needs to be changed - I have the gasket and will include it. It makes a putt-putt sound due to this. Also, aftermarket radio has AM/FM cassette player. I might also have the original AM radio that I will include if I can locate it.
