Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1966 Ford Bronco U15 wagon originally built in February of 1966. I purchased this Bronco for my son and he drove it to high school - he's now in the Air Force in Alaska and can't take it with him. So regretably I am putting it up for sale. This Bronco is in good condition and starts and runs very well. It has a 200 ci inline six and in the last few years I have replaced the battery, the head, the carb and just recently, installed a new fuel pump. We had some fun with Bronco and when we refurbished it and we made it a very mild "resto-mod". As can be seen in the pictures, we shaved the door handles and installed a remote door opening system with key fob actuation. This Bronco has the following features: ** 200 cubic inch inline 6-cylinder engine ** Manual 3-spd transmission with James Duff floor shift conversion and matching TC shift lever - both have the James Duff billet shifter knobs ** Dana 20 transfer case ** Ford 9-inch rear w/4.56 gears ** Dana 30 front differential w/4.56 gears ** 1993 full size Bronco styled steel wheels with center caps (no spare) ** 3A Racing front buckets with stock rear bench reupholstered to match ** Wild Horses parchment bikini top ** Wild Horses San Felipe bar ** Grant GT steering wheel This Bronco is not perfect and was not intended to be refurbished to show quality - it was built to be a fun and reliable driver. It does need some work on the electrical system but nothing that currently prevents it from being driven and enjoyed. (The right turn signal does not blink when the brakes are applied and the gas guage sometimes does not work.) It could use undercarriage detailing. And the engine, while running well and strong, uses a bit of oil. during the refurbishing we replaced the hood, both door striker plates, the front floor boards, driver's side rear quarter and installed a tail gate bottom patch panel. It also has a James Duff fiberglass hood bubble/scoop installed. The odometer reads 17,499 so I have assumed it has turned over at least once! Actual mileage is unknown. I have the original top, original seats and original dash pad and these items are included in the sale. The top needs minor work and paint and the dash pad is an 8 out of 10 (very good for an original - I just like the looks of no dash pad on an early Bronco better and never installed it.) Local pick-up only or you arrange for pick-up and transport. Thanks for looking.
