1997 BMW 528i Before I start blabbing about my car, I want to state that I am offering this vehicle for sale with full disclosure, meaning no lies or any deception. I want to be completely honest and any questions, requests for additional pictures, etc., are welcome. Potential buyers are more than welcome to have the car looked at. Please understand this is an auction and you are bidding to purchase this car as a binding contract. Please do not bid if you do not intend to purchase the car. There are no warranties expressed or implied. I absolutely love this car but four vehicles is just to much. This has been my daily driver to work and has always been garaged/covered when at home. I have owned since 2007 and have had no major issues. I am the second owner and has always been a southern car w/ zero rust or corrosion. I have clean carfax when I purchased the car w/ zero accidents or issues. No issues or wrecks since I have owned it, however, you are more than welcome to run another CarFax report. I have averaged 24-26 mpg highway and 18-21 mpg in-town. Car is SUPER clean, leather is excellent and still soft, no cracking or tears. Dual front and side airbags. All power equipment works like new. Sunroof works excellent, it tilts, retracts and closes with no noises. All power windows work flawlessly. Rest of interior is impeccable for a 1997!!! I would rate the interior for its age a 8-9 out of 10. Trunk is super clean also and includes the factory tool kit, full size spare w/ excellent matching aluminum rim. Car comes with factory manuals, owner cassette tape, and leather interior sample. The front and rear cup holders are broken and not in the vehicle. If buyer purchases the car at my asking price I will buy both of these and install. The paint is all original as are the factory pin stripes and the body is very nice for its age w/ only a few minor dings and common stone chips on the hood. The paint still shines very nice, no fading anywhere. All external lights, indicators, trim, etc., are excellent. Headlight lenses are yellowed. I have been successful working with the lenses to make more clear, but not close to new. Fog lights work great. All in all for its age, I would rate the exterior a 8 out of 10. I did have the windshield replaced about a year or so ago due to a truck that threw up a rock on the highway. So the windshield is nice and clean with no pits and no leaks. All other glass is perfect. The tires are Michelin Pilots and have about 20-30% tread left (they are not bald!). Brakes work very well no fading or slipping. The car is mechanically sound with no issues. Motor burns no oil, runs quiet and smooth, cruises at 70-80 with no problems. Transmission shifts nicely. Zero fluid leaks. Engine compartment is SUPER DUPER clean and I have not cleaned it!!! It has a lifetime K&N filter that I purchased when I first bought the car. I have cleaned the filter and re-oiled. Nice not to have to replace the filter when it gets dirty and the air flow is much better. Engine cools fantastic, never gets above half which is normal, even w/ A/C running. So zero issues with engine and components. Car has stock exhaust, no modifications, and is excellent being made of stainless/aluminized materials. Rest of undercarriage is very clean, no rust or corrosion. All oxygen sensors have been replaced. All weather stripping is soft and excellent. Zero wiring issues and electrical system is superb. Everything works with exception of the windshield washer pump which will be replaced before buyer receives car.
