1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport, 425 V8 factory dual Carter 4 bbl carbs, limited slip differential. What we used to call back in the day , "Banker's Hot Rod". The 425 V8 engine, dual Carter 4 bbl carb's were rebuilt in 2/2004. The transmission was rebuilt by Cottman Transmission in 5/2008. Custom dual exhaust installed 2/2008. New fan clutch, waterpump, battery, alterantor and regulator in the past month. We have a new A/C compressor, POA valve and new high / low pressure lines boxed but not installed. This is truely a high end mid sixties muscle car ! Back in 65' Buick engineer's created the first dual fuel vehicle and this one is living proof , because it burns 97 octane gasoline and rubber !!!! For a 45 year old car the overall bodywork fit and finish is very good, the Buick was repainted by the previous owner 8 years ago. There are 2 small right hand door dings and several small paint nicks. The interior is clean and fresh looking with only one small 1 inch fabric split on the drivers seat back trim piping. The hideaway headlight clam shell doors operate now and then and the cruise control does not function. The odometer clearly indicates 16, 350 miles and it looks as if may be original, but I have no positive proof that it is correct, so please keep that in mind when bidding. It drives and handles well, until you "put your foot into it", then it becomes a "fire breathing dragon". "Not for the faint of heart ". If your looking for a Time Machine, this is it!
