1979 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL "SURVIVOR" **LAST OF THE BIG ALL AMERICAN CARS** A TRUE AMERICAN CLASSIC FEATURES: 400 V8, POWER STEERING POWER BRAKES AIR CONDITION POWER - WINDOWS - LOCKS - SEATS - TRUNK AM/FM CD PLAYER POWER ANTENNA NEW ITEMS: FIRESTONE WHITE WALL TIRES ELECTRONIC IGNITION MOTORCRAFT CARB DISTRIBUTOR COMPLETE TUNE UP BELTS ORIGINAL ITEMS: CHROME SPOKE HUB CAPS PAINT HOSES INTERIOR HEADLIGHTS NON CRACKED PADDED DASH BOARD FLOOR MATS EXHAUST GLASS DRIVE TRAIN POWER TRAIN This car is an original New Mexico Car. It was stored for about 10 years in a barn in Corrales NM. 33k miles. It was purchased at "Joe White Ford Lincoln Mercury" in Odessa Texas in 1979. There is no rought and no rust holes. The interior is very good with the exception of the headliner seam over the back seat on the passenger side. No dents, and no prior accidents. This car runs excellent. I have confidence in this car that it can be driven anywhere from coast to coast. But, I'm not a mechanic and I can't see into the future. The passenger window does not go down but the motor and switches work. I have been told it is a window regulator that is bad. All other windows work perfectly. This car is all original with the exception of the sound system. The power antenna works as so do all electrical componants. The clock in the dash still works and keeps accurate time. The brakes were inspected and are fine. In January of 2010 the car made a 2756 mile journey from New Mexico to Rhode Island without any trouble. It did fine in the snow, wind, and rain. It road like a big American car should. I am the second owner. I have had the car for 3 years and I love it. I now have a back injury that doesn't allow me to get around much anymore. So I am thining out my collection. I can not get any pictures of the undercarriage due to my back injury. So please don't ask. You may make an appointment with me to come take a look at it for yourself. I have sold over 20 classic cars on ebay since 2005. I have a 100% feedback and I'm an honest seller. I have discribed the car as well as I can. I have listed all that has been done to the car and what the car may or may not need. It is being sold As Is Where Is with no warranty promised or implied. Thanks for checking out my auction! Good Luck... I will sell to All Countries World Wide!!
