1959 gmc shortbed truck channeled low on a chevy s10 chassis. It rides very smooth and stops on a dime with 4 wheel disc brakes. this truck is a dependable daily driver and it gets great gas mileage with the s10 drive train and manual transmission. The body is straight and 98% rust free with solid floors. The bottom fender and cab quarters could be replaced .(they are about 30-40 $ each) There is no roll pan or rear bumper ( about $90 for a roll pan) If you are looking for a dependable,yet economical truck to get you where you need to go in style,this is it. If you are looking for a show quality, high horsepower, gas guzzling, quarter mile monster, this is not it. A little body work and a paint job could make this truck very nice. As crazy as it sounds,this truck has no problem getting up to speed and will cruise along the highway at 75 miles an hour all day long. The s10 body weighs about the same as this 59 shortbed body. I hate to get rid of this truck,but as you can see i have quite a few rides and I am going to use the money to finish my chopped 51 mercury. HAPPY BIDDING! NO RESERVE p.s.
