RELISTED: I listed this vehicle a couple of weeks ago and ended up with a high bidder from New Jersey who stated he made a mistake and did not mean to bid on this... go figure. Thanks & Happy Bidding! I purchased this 2000 Land Rover Discovery 4x4 a few months ago at Adesa "Dealer Only" Auto Auction in Lexington, KY. It was announced that the engine would not start "motor locked" and I purchased it anyway with intentions of fixing it. It has been setting all this time and I still have not made the neccesary repairs and due to way too many irons in the fire I have decided to pass it on. I did have an independent local mechanic, non-certified, check it out and he thinks it is locked up. Upon attempting to start, it only clicks. The mileage is correct at 82,075 with no brands whatsoever on the title and a 100% clean title history. This Discovery has a good looking leather interior and is nicely equipped with many options including a 10 disc CD changer, which appears to have been added. The headliner is sagging and possibly can to be reapplied with a spray glue especially made for this application. I can only assume the rest of the powertrain is good, but please keep in mind this vehicle is being sold AS-IS. As for the exterior, I noticed some fading on the roof and slightly on the hood. We have not tried waxing or buffing. A lens in the passenger side rear bumper is broken/missing. There's a crack in the rear bumper cover and a plastic section missing and a small crack in the front bumper cover. Some of the small center caps that fit on the wheels are missing. Of course, there's some normal minor scuffs, scratches, etc. The battery is currently not charged, but we did charge it once and it stayed charged for a long time. The wheels are 16" aluminum which look good and there's a matching spare as well. The tires appear to be fairly decent and are wearing well. I have not found any cracks or chips in any of the glass. Underneath looks very clean and dry. I always want to give an accurate description, but please look over the photos and see for yourself. I know this Land Rover Discovery 4x4 is worth fixing and would make a great SUV for someone. I have a skeleton crew and simply do not have the time now to put into it.
