Vehicle Detail
Please do not bid,or "buy it now" unless you are serious! You are bidding on a really cool 1990 Honda NS50F.This bike started life as a US spec model, but has been upgraded with some goodies from the European spec model.I bought it from a guy in Georgia who works for American Honda's power equipment division, and as a result, was able to pull some strings to get the upgrades imported, and then added to the bike.He is VERY meticulous with his bikes, and it shows as everything was done first rate! Here are the details: The bike has 4872 original miles, and has had a 1st over piston/ring set installed approx. 200 miles ago.Starts right up from dead cold on the 1st or 2nd kick with the choke on,and 1st kick once warmed up.The carb was upgraded to a larger Mikuni ,and the oil injection was disconnected in favor of running a straight 40:1 premix. The injection system could be hooked back up if desired. At the same time, the pipe was modified to give the bike a little more top end,and the rear sprocket was swapped out for the same reason. It is a little peaky, but really has a smooth powerband when it gets "on the pipe".The 6-speed tranny works smoothly, and the engine is water cooled. What a blast to ride. Its like having a street legal CR80,and the owner told me that you can swap out the head from a CR80(not sure of year, but I could ask him),and gain some more power. Will do 60 MPH easily as it is! The bike's bodywork was professionally repainted this spring in Honda Red,instead of the original white with pastel striping(YUK),and it looks great! The wheels are 18" Honda NS50R units from Europe which were powdercoated gold, and reshod with new Bridgestone rubber front & back.Along with this, the front drum brake was swapped out for a better performing factory disc brake setup. It also has the Euro-spec tachometer which is hard to find,as the US spec model did not have one.The original turn signals were swapped out with some faux carbon fiber units.Everything on the bike works as it should, and it really draws a crowd wherever you go. The bike DOES NOT have a title,as bikes 10 years or older in Georgia do not require a title.I will provide a Bill Of Sale, and you could obtain a title from International Title Service in Las Vegas,as I have done so in the past. The bike is located in Alliance,Ohio at my father's house, which is close to the Akron/Canton,Ohio area. Please ask questions as all sales are final.Winning bidder responsible for pickup or shipping.Full payment due within 7 days.
