Up for auction is a 1957 Alfa Romeo Giulietta convertible. This car was purchased about a year ago with the intent to restore this Italian beauty. Due to many other projects, I am forced to sell it. When this car was purchased, an email was sent the the Alfa Romeo factory for information regarding the car. The factory found that the chassis number AR 1495.01412 corresponded to an Afla Romeo Giulietta Spider, with the engine series number AR 1315. It was also found that this car was manufactured on February 15th, 1957. It was then sold to Hoffman Motor co., in New York, USA, on March 7th, 1957. The color of the car was white, and it had either a black or red interior. All of the information was sent from Automobilismo Storico Alfa Romeo. The car has a complete body, but is missing parts. When purchased, this car was missing bumpers, seats, and a few other parts. The car comes with everything that is shown in the pictures. The car is solid and would make the perfect platform to restore. The engine in this car has a series number of 1315.42932. It is unsure of whether the motor runs, but it does turn. As a result of New York State not issuing titles earlier than 1974, a bill of sale is all that will be included. International bidders are welcome. Will help buyer load car if necessary.
