Vehicle Detail

The pictures may look OK on this car, but it really needs a total rebuild or just use it for a parts car. It is not drivable and hasn't been started since 1987 when I put it in the garage, I just never got to the restore. I'm the second owner and I bought it in 1979. It has 302 V8 with an automatic trans. Outside - there are a few bubbles showing around the fenders, there is some slight rust on the door bottoms, some of the chrome is pitted, the electrtic top has been down since I garaged her but I'm sure it needs replaced. The glass is good all around. The floor pans are rusted through and one of the torque boxes has a few rust holes. I have no idea about the condition of the frame rails. Inside - there is surface rust on the door panels, the dash pad needs replaced, the carpet is very poor, the weather stripping is old or non-existent. Mechanically, well its been sitting for 23 years, I can't say that anything works at this point. I did have sleeves put in the engine at around 100K. The car was repainted in the early 80s and gold is the orginal color. I'm no mechanic and after 23 years, I've come to realize that the restoration will never make it to the top of the list. The reserve is low and bidding starts cheap. I need a $500 down payment sent within 48 hrs and the car must be picked up within 7 days with the remaining balance paid at that time. The terms of payment are set and not flexible. No personal checks. E-mail me if you have any questions. By request, I jacked up the car and tried to take pictures underneath. You can see the floorboards are bad. I tried to get the frame rails in, and took a picture of the driver side torque box and around the rear axle. The car has no front seats.
