Up for auction is a well cared for 1996 Hummer H1 Convertible. THIS IS A GAS ENGINE - NOT A DIESEL. GAS, GAS, GAS - NOT DIESEL! - $2400 complete brake job completed under 3000 miles ago- $3000+ into new 37 x 13.5 R17 LT Toyo M/T Open Country Tires (less than 3000 miles on tires) and Factory Hummer rims from a 2003 Hummer.- Leather Interior is free of any major rips and tears.- Seats replaced with all new Genuine OEM Factory Leather less than 4000 miles ago- Exterior is very clean except for 2 areas of minor aluminum oxidation (not rust, aluminum doesn't rust) under paint around gas tank (refer to pics) - Wheel and Tire option: I will substitute the original Hummer Run-Flat wheels and tires for the ones you see pictured and will deduct $1000 off the purchase price. Refer to the one picture above with the Red Rims (these are the original tires and wheels). Of the 4 original wheels/tires, 3 are in fair condition and one is in poor condition. If you choose to exercise this option, you will pay $1000 less than your final bid price. The Buy it Now Price would be $23,900 - $1000 = $22,900 for Hummer with Original Wheels. Known Problems: - NOTE TO 1ST TIME HUMMER BUYERS: All Hummers eventually have issues. If someone tells you otherwise they are not being truthful. I am being honest hear and listing what I know to be wrong with this rig below. There are no MAJOR issues with this Hummer, overall it is very clean and it runs great and shifts smoothly. The 4 x 4 is solid and works great. The MINOR issues I know of are listed here: - A/C needs work (not sure what needs to be done)- TIS (Tire Inflation System) works fine, but there is a leak somewhere in the system (tires stay inflated fine)- Heater core may need to be repaired (seems to have a very small leak and was told it could just be soldered)- 2 areas of oxidation under rust under the paint around the gas tanks Shipping: We can help with shipping / local pickup to the best of our ability, but you are responsible for arranging shipping if you are not going to pick it up locally. uship.com is a great resource for shipping vehicles at a great price.
