Up for sale is my 1986 suzuki samurai rockcrawler. This sammy has a 1998 Suzuki GXSR 750 street bike engine installed. It is running the stock 6 spd tranny of the bike coupled to the factory 86 sammy transmission and transfer case. It has "Y" links front and rear running massive 1 1/4" heim joints. Has panhard bars front and rear installed. Rear bumper is complete. Hood has been tapered approx. 6" on both sides. Rear tailgate has been narrowed to accomodate wider/taller tires. Sheet metal has been installed in the rear tub area to also accomodate the larger tires. The axles are out of a 1985 toyota truck. They have E-lockers installed front and rear. (no e-locker wiring). Transfer case has a disc brake e-brake set-up that needs a caliper. THIS IS A PROJECT VEHICLE!! Keep in mind that although the hardest parts of the drivetrain and engine/tranny/transfer case have been done it still needs ALOT! of small odds and ends dealt with. Engine will turn over with what little bit of wiring has been done but a factory wiring harness will be a much easier approach than running wires like has been done. It does have the computer for the gsxr engine. Engine had a little over 5500 miles on it before the bike was crashed. Fuel tank (sammy) has been installed with gsxr fuel pump and pick up installed. fuel lines & 90% of brake lines are ran. I think the toyota axles have 5:29s but am unsure of ratio and conditon. Axles are put together enough to make it rollable but will need to be gone through. I dont have any steering stuff for the axle. (other than factory steering arms). Engine has a custom header and most of the exhaust done and heat wrapped. Samurai is made to be a two seater, there is a sheetmetal box recessed into rear floor for more storage. Body is in great shape, hase both doors although not shown in pics. Samurai is sitting on the bumpstops in the picture, ride height will be determined by your imagination. Tires and wheels shown might go with it to keep it rollable but if possible I would like to keep them. No top, no seats, dash is there, I have boxes and boxes of misc interior/exterior parts, honestly not sure what all I have! I got this vehical as part of a trade so I dont know alot about it other than it would be a awesome trail rig with a little work and ingenuity. Parts alone are worth the asking price. PLEASE DONT BID IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT. VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN COLORADO. PLEASE DONT BUY IF YOU CANT COME GET IT. I WILL HELP LOAD VEHICLE BUT NOT DELIVER IT. VEHICLE WILL NOT DRIVE. WILL NEED TO BE HAULED TO ITS NEW HOME. I WILL ASSIST IN SHOWING YOU WHAT I KNOW ABOUT IT EITHER AT PICK UP, OR OVER THE PHONE AFTER PURCHASE.
