up for sale is my 2001 Mustang Cobra that has an 03 cobra supercharged engine. i also replaced many body panels as listed below, and swapped in the 03 fuel tank, and a solid rear axle out of a mach 1 to eliminate the annoying and dangerous IRS wheel hop. i could'nt be happier with the results. i have put about 8k miles on the car this summer, since the project was completed. here is the complete "mod" list: Exterior Appearance: 03/04 cobra front bumper with fog lights 03/04 cobra rear bumper with the chrome "COBRA" inserts 03/04 cobra side scoops 00 cobra r hood 20% window tint all around 18x9, 18x10, black with deep chrome lip fr500 wheels with 265/295 tires (90% tread life remaining) Eibach lowering springs 99 cobra wing (always liked the style) smoked/clear corner, head lights Performance: complete 2003 cobra engine (4.6L supercharged, NOT pullied, 29,000 miles) complete 2003 cobra fuel tank with stock, duel fuel pumps drilled and slotted brake rotors solid rear axle with 373 gears swapped in from an 03 mach1 slp catted x pipe with magnaflow catback (sounds mean) brand new steeda adjustable clutch cable Interior: 2003 mustang cobra 10th anniversary seays (look amazing) 2003 mustang cobra gauge cluster all else interior is stock (same as other cobras) Flaws: crack in the windshield, small crack in the bottom of the bumper, small crease in the fender by the headlight Hood thats on the car isnt perfect. i do however have a 2003 cobra hood in perfect shape that needs painted that ill throw in for another 350 bucks at the end of the auction. all in all, this is a very nice cobra for a steal of a price, all thinkgs considered. body has 90k miles (thats pretty much just the frame as ive replaced most body panels and the top is newer as well). i haven't had the car to the track ever. Why am I selling this car? i have no real need to sell the car. if it does'nt sell, I'm more than happy keeping it. For me it's more about the chase than the finished product. I love building these cars and now I'm throwing around the idea of getting a Z06. I will work with you on the price to an extent. like I said, I'm in no rush to sell this car at all and I will be more than happy to keep it. TITLE IS CLEAN< CLEAR< AND IN HAND! i do not have a car loan. you will get the title the day you purchase the car. I will allow a third party inspection if need be and I will allow anyone to come and give it a look over/test drive, ahead of time.
