This Jeep runs strong and has been great to us since 1997 but it just blew a brake line. I took it in and my mechanic told me not to put a dime into it because it is rusty underneath and in his opinion it is not safe to drive as something else will surely break. So I drove it home using the hand brake the other day and now I want it gone at any price. It is registered and insured and runs great but I am selling it FOR PARTS ONLY. NO WARRANTY. PARTS ONLY SALE. Aside from the rust problem, the only other issue is there is a small fuel leak on the quick-connect fitting on the fuel rail. The tires have a ton of life left on them, there is a full-size spare that's almost new. The interior door skins are excellent. Blaupunkt Casablanca cd with Boston Acoustic speakers in front and Sony in the back. U-Haul tow package with lifetime warranty (no ball, I am using it on my other car). Body has rust hole on the rear passenger side as in photo. Driver's seat cover is worn out but the other seats are great. Headliner is fine. Professionally handmade custom wood console box with drinkholders. Jack is included. Clear-coat is peeling on one side of the roof. Any french fries you find are yours, although it's pretty clean for it's age and use. Anyway, maybe someone can use the engine, it has ALWAYS started and ran (runs) great. Oil changed at Jiffy Lube regularly. THIS IS A JEEP FOR PARTS ONLY. I'm hoping somebody can use it for parts instead of just junking it. We shared a lot of good times together. Starts right up, steering is nice and tight, clutch is good, 4WD is good.
