Up for sale is a PRISTINE CONDITION 1996 Toyota Tacoma 4 Wheel Drive SR5 V6 3.4 Litre Engine Pickup Truck with Extended Cab and 6 foot Bed, Five Speed Manual Transmission. This may be the lowest mileage Toyota Tacoma in existence let alone eBay! The undercarriage of steel framing and steel sheet metal of the bed is as close to showroom new as you can imagine. Everything works exactly as it should. The air conditioning is super cold, the power windows, the power antenna, the radio and CD player. The tires show high tread remaining (I don't know if the original owner actually put new tires on the vehicle but perhaps--I just don't know the tread is so good.) The vehicle still has a "new car smell". The paint finish condition is perfect all over the truck with the exception of a scrape in the left fender which did break the paint but which, honestly, you have to look rather close to see it. (I will add a photo of this detail shortly as I only just thought of it.) OK. Here is the sad story of how this pristine truck is appearing on eBay and up for auction: I am a general building contractor and I am in the process of retiring and of selling my fleet of vehicles (which includes a superb 1995 Ford F250 with low miles, and a superb Sport Imprezza)--- and buying a fine, small pickup truck. THUS, on Aug 31 I bought this fabulous 5 Speed Toyota Tacoma on eBay, paid cash, and picked the truck up from the very nice owner (you can see the transaction yourself by doing the research; I highly recommend that you check out the original listing #250688389163; doing so will also give you an idea of what I need to get out of the truck at sale). I didn't even get a chance to title the vehicle when I was told by my doctor that under no circumstances am I allowed to drive a manual shift with a clutch because of the arthritus in my feet, a condition in which the padding between the small bones in my feet is all gone. So, the title for the truck is totally clear and unassigned--ready for a proper owner. On Sep-27-10 at 02:56:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Interesting statistics: Truck has a 3.4 liter V6 190 HP dohc 24 valve which is also used in the larger T100 Toyota truck and would be good for use in towing. Towing capacity is 3,500lbs with the steel reinforced existing bumper (not towing pkg as such but could be added to create 5000 lb capacity; there is currently no trailer wiring harness but a plug-in harness costs $34.00 from Curtis Mfg.). Here is a list of options unique to this truck: oversized 31 x10.5R15LT Goodyear Wrangler RT/S which creates a full foot one foot ground clearance; vehicle assembled in Freemont, Cal; EPA fuel Economy city/highway 24/36mpg but I also see fuel economy listed as 17/19mpg on other spec sheets so I don't exactly know what's what here; cargo payload 1,650 lbs; the Xtracab rides on a 121.9 inch wheelbase and is 18.6 inches longer than the standard cab; the transmission is 5-speed manual; fuel capacity 15.1 gallons; Vehicle includes the following OPTIONS “Chrome Package” consists of chrome front & rear bumpers/grille/door handles, “Convenience/Power Package” that consists of tilt steering wheel, cruise contral, digital clock, tripmeter, variable intermittent wipers; Aluminum Alloy Wheels; 4-wheel anti-lock brake system; remote keyless entry; V.I.P.
