Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a very custom Pre "Biker Build-off" Work of Art, 1970 Chopper frame Honda 750 with a 1975 Honda CB750-Four Engine. This chopper is obviously needs work, but has a lot of potential. It is the real deal, a real 1970's chopper built to be long and cool. Some of the components are very classic and very desirable as a far as custom choppers are concerned. The Girder Fork is simply amazing and will be one of the coolest most attractive parts on this bike when its all done and ready for cruisin' to your local Bike Night! THE STORY: This chopper was found in a field here in souther California during a lot clearing project. It had weeds growing around it as high as the handlebars. All proper DMV paperwork was filed and pink slip title is in hand ready to sign over to you when you win the auction! Unknown actual mileage. License plate tags are current. The title says 1970 Honda, but again the Engine is out of a 1975 CB750-Four Street bike. A very popular and powerful engine. The 1975 "Four" series Honda Engines have very good aftermarket support and are darn near bullet proof. This one has had all fluids changed and fires up and runs on the first try every try. It has Electric starter with a new high voltage solenoid as well as a kick starter. The clutch is new as are the points and coil. It has a brand new battery and brand new Duro "vintage reproduction" tires front and rear. The front girder style fork works fairly smooth but it has not yet been gone through. The fuel tank has been drained, cleaned out and resealed with KBS Gold Seal, new petcocks have been installed. This is a great project bike and will look amazing when full restored. Many of the difficult mechanical stuff have already been done so now all thats left is the cleanup and customization of colors to your liking. I wish I could finish it but already have too many projects and other bikes to work on right now. SHIPPING I prefer local pickup in the Southern California LA/Orange County area, but can transport to Ventura, Riverside, San Berdo, or San Diego counties if you contact me to make arrangements. If distance is too far, maybe we can work out a halfway point, just let me know and we can work it out. Shipping out of the So Cal area must be arrange by winning bidder. I dont mind helping with shipping but winner must make all arrangements and prepay fees to shipping company. eBay Motors has a page with vehicle shipping information. PAYMENT I accept PayPal or Cash only. Winning bidder must deposit $500 in PayPal within 3 days of auction end, balance must be paid in cash at time of taking delivery of the bike. If the bike is to be shipped, Bike must be paid in full before I will hand it over to shipper. ANY QUESTIONS, please feel free to contact me through eBays "Contact Seller" message system. I will respond to emails on a daily basis or more often during the day. All sales final, bike is also for sale in other venues and at a local custom bike swap meet, so if you are serious, please dont heasitate to contact me with questions or, what the heck, just bid! Happy Biking! On Sep-27-10 at 20:53:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction: 1969 Honda 750-Four Engine, Chopper Built in 1975. New important information on the year of this bike. I made a mistake in the original information when creating this auction. This Bike was built in 1975 and registered in California DMV as a Special Vehicle. In other words, since the frame is not "Honda" the title actually list it as a "Special" which all custom frame bikes and vehicles in California must be registered. The engine is a Honda CB750-Four, but as was pointed out to me by a Honda expert viewing my ad, and verifying through another source, the engine is actually a 1969 750-Four(possible originally sold as a 1970, since it was manufactured in Nov 1969). Honda's information list the manufacture date of the engine November 1969. I want to thank our Honda expert for pointing me in the right direction on the engine number. So again, Title IS in hand and registration is current and means this bike only be signed over to the winning bidder
