Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1965 Ford Mustang coupe with a 6 cylinder and automatic transmission. This car is a rare color, Springtime Yellow. The code on the door says 65A - Coupe with standard interior 8 - Springtime Yellow 26 - Black with Black trim interior 225 - Richmond Indiana District 4 - 3.25 to 1 Rear Axle 6 - C-4 Automatic transmission In my opinion this car has 2 out of 3. The interior is in good shape with 2 problems. There is a small rip along the seam in the driver's seat and the dash has some waves in it. The car has bucket seats and a console. The engine has very few miles on it since it was rebuilt in 1996. (less than 4000) The older gentleman who owned this car kept every receipt since he bought the car in 1995. There are receipts totalling over 7000 dollars. The gas tank was replaced and the car was tuned up last month. It runs good now. It's an economical 6 cylinder, 200 cubic inches. Now for the bad, the body is in need of help. Both of the back quarter panels and the front passenger fender need to be replaced. The vinyl roof also needs to be replaced. The passenger floor pan was replaced last week. The car needs to be repainted. This would be a great winter project. The tires have plenty of tread and the chrome is good. (look at the shine on those bumpers) I've set the reserve price at $3500 Along with the car I'll include 4 extra Mustang Hubcaps, A Mustang Manual, a few misc parts and a car cover. Unless you live in Indiana I'd suggest transporting the car since it is a 45 year old vehicle. When you drive a 65 Mustang people notice. Imagine driving down a backroad with the windows down with the AM radio playing. :) Ahh, the good life!
