1998 Volvo V70 GLT AWD Turbo Someone is going to get a great deal on an All Wheel Drive for the winter. The car starts right up and the engine sounds smooth. The transmission shifts smoothly. The drivers side door has been replaced by a different blue and was porely repainted . The bumpers both front and back have areas where you can see primer I purchased the car for my daughter but she said she will not drive a station wagon, I have not registered it yet, the Title and Bill of sale are from the owner I purchased it from in Massachusetts, It has a Mass inspection sticker good until 1/11. She left the name blank on the purchaser because I did not know if we were going to register it in my name or hers or both etc, Here is what I have done to the car so far. I had the power steering pump replaced and a new serpentine belt installed. This was done just a few days ago. The mechanic that I had do it told me that I should also look into doing the struts, the valve / cam cover gasket. He also noticed that one of the tires had a plug on the sidewall, he said this is not proper and the tire should be replaced. Three of the rims look real good, the drivers side rear is rusty. and he also said that the car emits droplets of water out the exhaust. The traction light as well as the ABS light will come on sometimes and then be off for awhile .The leather has cracks in it, the 2 front seats have seat covers, the 3rd row seats look like they have never been sat in. The dash looks very nice. It you know someone who is handy, or if you are yourself you could make this into a $3500 car without much trouble. I just priced front Struts and Monroe's are $68 at places like Auto Zone etc. Gaskets are even cheaper! That's all I know, I try to be as honest and up front as possible.
