This is a two owner car which was owned by the same old couple until the early 2000s. It was originally bought new at Boyer Motors in Riverside, Ca on December 20th 1964 by Capt. H Billingsley, an Air Force Captain. It was appraised in 2002 at 10,000 just shy of show quality condition, and that was far before the dramatic jump in value of these suicide door Continentals. The paint on the car is finished in its gorgeous original color of Powder Blue. This car just received a brand new, two stage base/clear paint job and looks gorgeous. The underside of the rockers, quarters, fenders, and floor boards are solid as a rock, and the wheel wells look so clean, just the way a low mileage car should. This car lived its entire life in inland California and Arizona so it is as solid as possible. All correct trim and emblems are present and in great shape. The clean desert chrome is all quite nice for being original and shines like new. All of the glass is original and the windshield is crack and chip free! The car rides on four high dollar Boss 22" chrome wheels and really give the car a great look. Tires are in like new condition and the car rides great. The original 15" Firestones with original hub caps are also available. You will get more attention than you can handle with this bling! The interior is all original and in very good condition with the exception of the brand new re-upholstered seats. Door panels, crack free dash and all wood grain are in excellent original condition and look like new. The carpet is all original and looks like new, even after all the years. Headliner and visors are like new. The odometer currently shows only 89,800mi and functions correctly. The mileage is certified to be ACTUAL according to the Arizona title and the service records. Power windows and seat were just fully gone through and serviced at a cost of over $800 to make sure all switches were new as well as window motors. Radio is currently not working, but it is only AM anyways, so the new owner will most likely install some tunes. All gauges work correctly as well as the speedometer, power door locks, power seat, vacuum brake release, interior lights, turn signals, and even the horn work as to be expected. The trunk interior is in awesome original condition and looks like new. The original jack as well as spare tire is present. Mechanically, this Lincoln runs GREAT! This car features the original Numbers Matching 430ci V8 and the 3-Speed Automatic Transmission. This car always starts right up and shifts so smooth it is difficult to feel the transition between gears. As I said before this car has just been gone through and had fluids drained, tuned up, belts and hoses checked, valve cover seals, battery replaced and the transmission and rear end serviced and resealed to make this car 100% roadworthy. It also just had the steering system serviced with new box bushings, rebuilt steering box and rag joint. Brakes were gone through and two new front calipers were installed. Also replaced were two new motor mounts and the fuel sending unit. Under the hood is very clean and been detailed and repainted to factory original condition. Even the original FOMOCO washer fluid bag is in good shape. The car is also totally tight as a drum with no fluid leaks whatsoever. The car tracks straight and rides and drives just like a new Lincoln should! This car is a factory Air Conditioned car and the system has no leaks and blows as cold as any new car! The car includes two sets of original keys, spare tire, and jacking equipment, as well as original rubber Lincoln floor mats, original owners manual with Continental Owners Card, and many years worth of receipts. All in all, this is one very cool Lincoln Continental. These 60's era Lincolns are becoming more and more collectible as the older ones disappear into collections, especially well maintained, super low mileage, cars like this.
