Offering a 1954 Porsche Pre A coupe that has been in long storage and needs complete restoration. This california car was running when it was put into a body shop for a complete paint job and the car was prepped for a paint job which was never completed. The body is rust free and is solid but the passenger floor pan is weak in the foot well area due to long storage. I will update the condition of the drivers side pan this week. A lot of new parts were purchased and go with the car. It has a dual carb engine with Delortto carbs. The engine turns manually but has not been started in a few years but should run easily with complete change of oil and gas. The gas tank has been renewed but not installed. The car is 98 % complete and i will be compiling a list of new parts that were purchased for the car this week and will add to this listing when I complete it. it has the original windshield and back glass as well as the head lamps and gauges and the dash. The seats are in decent condition but need cleaning. I want to rstore this car to its former glory but due to a sudden illness i am forced to sell it. i have more photos if you want to see them. The doors to the car are available and I have photos of the doors in the listing. They are in good condition. The car is 98 % complete and all original factory parts are there. I will also add what parts are missing if any but they may be very small items as all the major components are there wiith the car. This is a very rare opportunity to buy a very nice 56 year old Porsche 356 as they are becoming increasingly very hard to find. I have worldwide interest on this car and I am sure it will be sold to a special buyer who sees the potential for this rare car. I was going to do it up and drive it but as a result of a illness my dreams have come to an end and hopefully someone special can restore this car to its former glory. The car was originally Candy Apple Red or some color close to it. I have polaroid shots of the car when it was Red but cannot upload them on ebay. As you can see the car is now in Grey primer color.
