If you’re serious about this bike you already know how awesome it is! The Phoenix edition is rare, I’ve never seen another on the road. I’m the 2nd owner and purchased the bike in 2007 with approx. 7000 miles on it. It currently has 8855 miles, I’ve hardly ridden it and have been thinking about selling it for about a year. The bike has been covered, outdoors. This is really is a stunning bike! The tires have about 1000 miles on them, plenty of tread left. I had a new battery put in about a year and a half ago. Brake pads were new with the tires and have plenty of life left. It was serviced @ Bob’s BMW in Jessup, MD and Battley Cycles in Gaithersburg, MD. You’ll love this bike! The Staintune exhaust sounds awesome, without overdoing it. I’ve connected the Autocom Bluetooth module and Zumo 550 Bluetooth with my Blackberry, it works really well. I’ve taken phone calls @ 70 mph on the highway, the caller could hear me fine and hardly noticed the wind noise. Being able to play MP3s through the Zumo is a really nice feature – it’s nice to have your tunes out on the road. I’ve also used the bike-2-bike feature with a Kenwood radio, it also works really well. While the bike is an excellent condition there is normal wear and tear, most of which a little polish or chrome touch up will fix. There are minor scratches on the saddlebags. About 4 months ago I laid the bike down, it was parked, not running, I was just being stupid. As a result the left rear turn signal broke, and the grab rail on the rear seat and chrome engine cover got scratched. All these are minor repairs, you can either fix them or keep an eye out on eBay for replacement parts.I'm also selling the bike locally and will end the auction if I sell it locally first.
