This 1996 Land Cruiser is in very good condition with just under 181,000 miles. It spent the first 10 years of its life in western Oklahoma driven on the highway to and from school by a lady teacher. It was then purchased in 2006 with 105,000 miles by a co-worker of mine. He drove it four years to and from work and also on once per month 1000 mile round trips from Houston to Oklahoma to visit relatives. He had an opportunity to buy a Mercedes G-500 so I bought the LC from him, knowing the vehicle well. The only modification from stock is the 17" wheels he added. The Michelin tires are one year old and have about 15000 miles on them. The brakes were completely redone in May including four new rotors. The radiator and A/C condenser have been replaced as well as the water pump. When I purchased it I replaced the PHH (pesky heater hose) and spark plugs, plug wires and distributor cap. Everything works on the car except for the center differential lock will not engage. This is common when the LC is driven on the highway all its life and never driven off road. This car did not come with locking differentials. The rest of the four wheel drive systems are in great condition. The A/C blows ice cold, the power antenna works, all power windows, seats, and door locks work. The power sunroof works. The leather drivers seat needs replacing and has a leather seat cover on it now. All other leather is in great condition as is the headliner and carpets. I replaced the faded dash and door trim and purchased needed new fender flare gaskets. I have not installed them and they will go with the car. I also purchased an excellent used top rear bumper plate that will also go with the car. This Land Cruiser rides and drives like new. It does not consume any oil at all. I have a little over 3000 miles since the last oil change and it is still at the top and is still clean like new oil! It is very smooth and responsive. The transmission shifts smoothly. It is powerful with a lot of torque that makes it fun to drive. The steering is tight and precise and it leaves no stains or puddles in my driveway. This car is ready to drive anywhere. I love this car but I have only space for three cars and facing retirement I must fill one space with an economy car. This LC does get 13 miles to the gallon. Balance of payment must be completed within seven days of the auction end, by cash in hand or by wire transfer to my bank account only. No checks of any kind or money orders will be accepted.
