This 1982 Mercedes Benz was purchased new by my mother in law in 1982 in Europe. She shipped it home through the Jacksonville port,and drove it home to Fort Lauderdale. She never really liked the slow pickup of the small diesel, hardly ever drove it, parked it for years at a time. She finally titled the car in 1986. It has been sitting in the garage since 2000, so I have pulled it out, cleaned it and she is now willing to sell it. A/c has a leak, will take a charge and operate cool for a few days. Mechanic says seals in compressor are dried out, probably right. Some minor wrinkles on front door panels from age, two small splits on dash top, all shown in pics. I replaced the tires, they are new since the others were dry rotted and flat spotted from sitting. She had replaced them years ago when the car had 4400 miles for the same reason. This car is 100% original, has never had any paintwork or trimwork.Fuel has been in the tank for years, but it runs excellent. Car has sunroof, automatic transmission, Becker am-fm stereo.
