This auction is for a 1998 model Eighty Eight Oldsmobile. The vehicle has a bit of mileage on it but most of them were highway miles. The vehicle is a second owner and was used as a salesman's car until I purchased it for my personal use. The engine and drive train are in excellent shape and run very well. The fluids were recently changed along with all of the appropriate filters. The vehicle is equipped with power windows, door locks, and cruise control. It also has anti lock brakes, a power driver's seat, and rear and front window defrosters. As you can see in the photos, some of the paint is faded on the trunk and there is a small dent in the driver's side front fender due to someone backing into me. Also the air conditioning compressor will need to be replaced and the cassette deck has a tape jammed inside. Recently I replaced the brake lines from the middle of the car to the rear drum brakes. However, I was informed by my mechanic that the front brake lines will need to be replaced now or in the very near future to prevent a break line rupture. Currently, all mechanical systems are operating as they should but the sensor on the charcoal fume filter on the fuel system is tripping the check engine light. Other than those few minor issues, the vehicle is in good shape and would make a good work car or general driving sedan.
