HERES A AMERICAN CULT VEHICLE seldom seen anymore,almost never seen with this low of mileage. i am a principal of a cadillac dealerhsip in ocala, florida--we traded this car in on a new cadillac.it is a one-owner meaning the original owner traded it in to us last week.it has a true 8,800 miles on it from new.it still retains the original brushed stainless steel finish.many of them have had body damage and then painted to hide the bondo underneath the paint.this car has more familiarity with its garage than with the owner driving it. to be fair it computes out to 322 miles per year of use!!!!.it had the original set of tires on it from the factory still looking like new but with STEEL BELTED TIRES NOT SAFE AFTER 6 YEARS,we repalced them with new tires.-- it also had flat spots when you drove the car.the car had sat so much the tires had flat spots in them.,you had to drive it about 15 miles to get them to half round out.a new set of tires makes it drive and ride like it is supposed to,so we put them on. this car has the trade mark "gull wing" doors,power windows,leather seats,cold air conditioning,and virtually no wear anyplace,something you would expect from a garaged 8,000 mile car.-i personally have owned many exotic cars,and i can attest to this car being what you would be expecting when bidding on this legitimate 8,000 mile car.it is the only one i have ever traded in since they were new(we have a group of 6 new car dealerships)-so it is seldom you will find one traded in anywhere.most are found at auctions and who knows who owned them or how many people drove them and how many different dealers have owned them.this again is a legitimate one owner car that we traded from the original owner.after spending about 30minutes in the car all i can say that could be criticised is the idle at a stoplight with the air conditiong on could be adjusted up 100-200 rpm,alsothere is a smal leak in the exhaust system causing a slight leak sound around an exhaust donut i would suspect.other than that it shows no wear or even signs of even ever being used!! .i would suspect 300+ miles on this with some good amoco premium will clean the engine like a new tune up.the carpet is as clean as when new and the leather seats usually show signs of wear where the libito of the driver rubs on the backrest and lower outer seat bottom ,,,again from sliding the buttocks over it.this one??? no wear what so ever,and it is all original leather. the engine compartment as pictures show, is all original; we never even cleaned it.to clean something this nice originally i felt would jepordize the believability of the car.nothing TOO shiney or phony looking.all stickers are intact as it left the factory.with comparable years of porsches/ferrari's selling for as much as twice the amout,this car is a bargain for a cool toy car.the drivetrain is simple as well. the air works well too,as most cars of this vintage the air conditiong works about as good as a good fan!!(i know i have been there and done that) the drive train is pretty simple as well no big exotic engines to keep in tune or paddle shif transmissions that cost$10,000- $20,000 to rebuild as many exotic of today have.I HAVE MADE IT A NO RESERVE AUCTION,i have started it out at a very resonable amount with a buy it now ...again at a very reasonable amount for those of you with a slow computer i always have a buy it now to allow people with slow computers who really want an item to not loose out on it at the last 5 seconds of bidding(most ebay items are won in the last 20 seconds of bidding) look at other adds,many people want $50,000-$60,000 for cars not as nice as this one.we are in business to sell cars,not to hoard them for 2 years before we get lucky and sell one for the big price.we traded it in with the anticipation of selling it at a low price to move it FAST.this is a bargain,in 27 years i have never run onto one like this i doubt if you will either.....in summary this car is a bargain for someone wanting something different.i would not hesitate driving this car to anywhere. this car needs an owner to USE it,and of course enjoy it.if shipping is a problem i can probably help you in shipping it at a very resonable price.any questions call me prsonally 352-598-7431 on weekdays and evenings/weekends 352-595-5079--ask for terry GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!
