1962 MGA MKII Roadster You are looking at a Very Rare 1962 MGA MKII Roadster. There were not many MKII's made, and there are not many left. This is a very solid example. It is a 3 owner and has been stored for the last 36 years indoors. I have attached photos. VIN# GHNL2106591, Engine# 16GC-U-H6343, "1622" on side of block near mount, "16" on corner of rear. I started to paint the underbody but wanted you to see how great it is. It has been stored and not driven since 1974, and is not currently running. I have not been able to get it to turn over. I have done some study by removing the head (no valves through pistons), and I also removed the pan (looks very good to me). I have it soaking currently. I will put everything back together that you see in the photos, so it can be shipped easily. Missing fan and air cleaners. The rocker panels were in bad shape so I cut them out to make the replacement easier. Lots of dings, scratches, and a big dent on drivers side rear fender. This is a valuable, and very important car that deserves to be restored. NADA shows the MGA MKII values at: Low $11,600, Avg $19,100, High $34,200. It could also be a cool driver, once you get it running, do some hydraulic work, etc. Hydraulics are down, but e-brake works. I looked under the spare cover and it even has a very old nylon Dunlop Gold Seal wide whitewall tire as a spare, and the manual crank.(cool!) Please ask questions before bidding. You are welcome to inspect the car. It is sold as is. An MGA MkII just sold on ebay that was "rusty" and had the wrong engine(mgb) in it, for $8,600.00. Keep in mind that it is 48 years old.
