1966 Dodge Charger Well we will try this again. I listed this car a couple weeks ago and ended it on the last day just for the reason, WAY to many questions about rust. I listed several cars that week that I have had for MANY years and need to sell due to me relocating in a few months. The description was very brief as I did not have time to inspect all the cars. Well I took the car in and detailed it this weekend and looked it over very close. It was as clean as I remember it when I bought it. You will never hear me state in my auctions "no rust anywhere" well this is as close as it comes with the car having no rust. I found 3 spots almost the size of pencil lead on the pass door. As far as frame and under side it is as clean as it could possibly be with NO PRIOR RUST REPAIRS anywhere on the car. The car still has mostly all ORIGINAL PAINT. It is very light and in bad need of paint job but it is original so you dont have to worry about bondo or other issues. I am also saying the car has ALL original body panels including floors,trunk ect. The car still has its ORIGINAL INTERIOR that looks pretty good in the pictures but should be done, with a note that the door panels have a few light cracks but still look good. With that said you will probably get away with replacing the old seat covers and the dry rotted carpet. Under the hood is the same story it has NEVER BEEN touched or modified. No need to fear with rust with this Charger. I will get a lot of coments I'm sure about having Hemi in the listing the reason for this is the car will make a perfect candidate for a Hemi clone. My thought for this is due to the car having no rust and it is a 318 car so not really a high end car due to a small block. Yea there are some people that really like the 318 polly and that is great, for you folks it would be a realativly cheap restore on this GREAT CHARGER. Now for the best part. This is a NO RESERVE auction and I will NOT end the auction early. So needless to say the high bidder wins the auction. I need a 25% deposit no later than 3 days after the auctions end with the balance due within 7 days. ALL vehicles are being sold AS IS WHERE IS.
