Vehicle Detail
This Bike is a 1974 Honda CR125 Elsinore. I am selling this bike for a friend of mine. He built the CR to add to his collection of bikes & never raced it. It got road around his field a couple of times & has been parked in his shop since. This is a description of the bike as I know it. This bike was sold on here a week ago, but the buyer couldn't afford the international shipping fee. So, this bike is being sold to US buyers ONLY. You find your shipper & do all the foot work. I will not do it for you. Expect around $500.00 to ship in the lower US. It has been built as a Race bike & is AHRMA Legal. It has been repainted to match the factory paint scheme. The frame was repainted, as well as all of the plastic. The fork seals & oil were replaced, The cables are in excellent shape, new grips, the tires were replaced with newer used tires. The bearings & seals were replaced where needed. All bearings were at least repacked. New sprockets & the chain were installed. The swingarm is made by CrossUp, shock mounts were Tig welded on to make the bike AHRMA Legal but you can still use the other shock mounting points, if desired. The shocks are made by Works Performance & were made for the CR125 Elsinore. They are in good shape but could use new seals. There are NO pits or dings on the shafts. The rubber bumpers are in great shape. The foot pegs are wider then stock. They have been modified & are in great shape. The pipe is a custom made Mugan copy Up pipe. The silencer comes with the pipe & is located under the side cover. The air filter is a new Uni pod style filter. The motor was completely rebuilt & painted. It has a new rod kit in it with new rod & crank bearings & seals. The cylinder was rebored to 2nd over & has a new Wiseco piston & rings installed. All new gaskets were used. The cases are stock but the tranny was replaced with 1976 internals. The clutch is out of a 76 CR125 also. These parts are stronger then the stock 74 parts were & is a great race mod!! The head is off of a 76 CR125 also. It is wider & has more cooling fins then the stock head & is needed to clear the Up pipe. The cylinder is off of a 1975 CR125. It has Better porting then the 74 model had & gives the bike more power. The bike also has a GEM reed cage installed on it. The frame is in great shape & not molested. The rims are in good shape. They have some scratch's but no flat spots or cracks. It has MSR aftermarket perches & levers, with on the fly adjusters. The tube that is welded to the rear axle, is there for a place to mount a triangle stand & will be included in the sale of the bike. There are two things that should be replaced on this bike. It needs one new front spoke & the rubber intake boot has cracks in it. The intake boot is a standard universal part. About $25.00. It runs as is but needs replaced. Other then that this bike is ready to go race. If you have any questions about the bike Please ask. I have described this bike as best I can but may not have answered all of your questions & I want no disappointments when you get it. I have actual bike crates & will crate the bike & take it to a shipper of your choice within the Portland Oregon area, for an extra $100.00. Buyer pays the actual shipping cost. Buyer can come & pick the bike up for free. A $200.00 down payment is required with in 24hrs of the auction end & full payment within 5 days of the auction end. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you can't meet those requirements, Please don't Bid! The bike will go to the next highest bidder. Thank You & good Luck. On Sep-01-10 at 22:54:23 PDT, seller added the following information: There is no title for this bike. A bill of sale will be included with sale. Sorry I forgot to say that, but most old dirt bikes don't have them. I stand corrected by th guy that makes the pipe.. The pipe is a Nobby's Works Pipe. On Sep-04-10 at 10:33:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked how the plastic is. Well its old. The fenders are in good shape. The side covers have some cracks, in the upper rear part of them. But as mentioned, this bike was built for racing. Not beauty Queen. But it is still a very nice bike!!!! On Sep-04-10 at 10:40:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Also, I will not accept paypal for the full amount, unless the buyer pays for the seller fees. They charge way to much. Deposit through Paypal & the rest in Cashiers check. Thanks.
