1985 PORSCHE 928S 5-SPEED MANUAL 5.0 LITER V8 *FREE DELIVERY WITHIN 250 MILES OF TAMPA, FL WITH "BUY IT NOW"* THE MILEAGE OF 119,746 THAT I HAVE REPORTED IS CORRECT AND ORIGINAL. AUTOCHECK REPORTS 137K BECAUSE OF AN ERROR MY NOTARY MADE WITH THE DMV IN FLORIDA IN 2008. FLORIDA REQUIRES THAT A DMV EMPLOYEE PERSONALLY VERIFY A VEHICLE'S MILEAGE AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION, OR YOU CAN HAVE A NOTORY DO IT AND SIGN A FORM. I HIRED A NOTARY WHO MISTAKENLY WROTE DOWN THE MILEAGE WRONG (137K INSTEAD OF 117K). SUBSEQUENT TO THAT, THE DMV CORRECTED THE MILEAGE. I HAD A DMV EMPLOYEE VERIFY THE CORRECT MILEAGE AND ISSUE A NEW TITLE, WHICH I HAVE CURRENTLY. LOOK SPECIFICALLY AT THE "VEHICLE USE AND EVENT CHECK" PORTION OF THE AUTOCHECK REPORT AND IT CONFIRMS THAT THE DMV ISSUED ME A CORRECTED TITLE. I am a responsible (bordering on obsessive) adult professional (attorney) owner. I have owned this car for almost 4 years, and have meticulously maintained it. I have spent over $13,000 on maintenance since I bought the car in January 2007 and have every single record to verify it. I have spent over $20,000 total on this vehicle and now the lucky new owner will get to benefit from that. All work was professionally done, most by Vortex Motorsport in Tampa, FL (the best auto maintenance facility I have ever experienced anywhere in the country). All maintenance and mechanical upgrades were done in such a way as to maintain the car as stock with some modern performance upgrades. This is not a custom car or hot rod or filled with tacky aftermarket parts. This car has never been raced or abused. I drive it weekly for pleasure only during nice weather. It is garage kept The car is mechanically perfect. It starts up immediatly every time, idles, runs, and drives perfectly. The transmission shifts into all gears perfectly without any problems of any kind. The car is immaculate. You could drive it across the country tomorrow (I have driven it from Michigan to Florida with no problems whatsoever). It has no rust. All electrics work. There are no surprises. No dents, dings, etc. The air conditioning does not work (I do not know what is wrong with it). The car has a few very small paint chips/scratches that have been touched up over the years (much less than average for its age). Also, the driver's side door does not open from the outside using the exterior door handle. It can he opened using the interior door handle. I had this looked at and there are 2 pins connecting the exterior door handle to the mechanism that causes the door to open. One is broken and needs replacing. That is one thing I have not gotten around to yet. The driver's door is fully functional, you just can't open it from the outside door handle. I am disclosing absolutely everything I know about the car (good or bad) because I want the buyer to know exactly what they are getting. I might consider personally delivering this car up to 250 miles or so, schedule permitting, for the price of gas plus a small fee, but any potential buyer would have to discuss that with me prior to bidding or there are no guarantees.
