This hood is also included with the auction. If the buyer chose to use the old hood and sell the GTO hood, they could get as much as $800 - $1,000 for the GTO hood, by itself, in a separate sale! Disclosures Mechanical clock does not work, as is normal in in most cars of this era. Can get rebuilt clock for less than $100, but since the stereo has an accurate clock, I never bothered The paint job is not an expensive $10,000 paint job. It is single stage, and not the highest quality paint job. The pictures are very flattering. Looks OK but not up to the base coat, clear coat paint jobs that are standard on modern production cars today. To be clear, this is the cheapest paint job imaginable. The pictures are great, but in erson, please expect overspray, chips, imperfections,, etc. I repeat, this is NOT a high quality paint job!!! This is a big car. This is the only year that Pontiac made a GTO like this. In '74 they went to the Ventura style. It is also not the same as previous year GTOs. I would feel comfortable putting my son in this car and having him drive it cross country right now....TODAY!!!. It is a solid car, but it is not a new car, nor is it a show car. It is entirely reliable and does not require any mechanical work, but please don't forget, this is a 36 year old, completely stock car. It's not a race car and it's not a Cadillacnand it's not a Prius! Happy Buyer I have been as forthcoming and honest as I can possibly be.
