Here is my 1971 Datsun 240Z ... I purchased the car to replace my 1967 camaro that caught on fire. After purchasing this car I decided it's best to put my money back into rebuilding my camaro instead of starting over with another car. I always wanted one of these datsuns which is why I bought it but under the circumstances and after a few weeks of serious debating with the wife I decided it's best to put my money in the camaro. I can't have both and I just purchased my camaro back from insurance so the datsun needs to go :( I have only driven this car 4-5 times and it's been great every time. It has a 4 speed manual and it fires right up every time. It has the stock motor and 4 speed manual transmission. It's very clean overall and I also have the bumpers and the grill and extra sideskirts that comes with it. this is by far the most solid Z I ever seen. Oil pressure is very good, gauges work, headlights, tail lights and turn signals all work, manual 4 speed transmission and original motor. Car is very clean overall. I think the car needs an alignment, the steering wheel shakes around 40 mph but seems to go away below and above 40.. The brakes work very well.. Overall it rides and shifts great. I wish I was able to keep both cars but I am not in a position to keep them all right now. as far as I can tell this car is averaging almost 30 mpg Thanks!
