This is a very strong truck. As you can see it does have some body damage from the years of being a work truck. It was a delivery truck fro a lumberr yard in Birmingham, Al. I got the truck when I was 15 and began to restore it with my father. When never got to finish the upholstry because of his health issues. I have had the truck for ten years now and never had a better vehichle. The mileage seems low because the previous owner could not remeber haw many times it had roled over. I have put around 50,000 miles on the truck since I have had it with no real problems. While restoreing it I installed a radiator, alternator, clutch, a fuel tank, and some lite interior work. The engine is still very strong, but does have a small oil leak (less than a quart a month). The only reason I am selling this truck is because I can almost never find time to drive it any more. As you can inmagine a truck from that era was not designed to run 70 to 80 miles an hour and I have to drive down the interstate at least 60 miles per day and do not want to risk damaging the transmission. I have used the truck to pull boats, tractors and other equipment and never had any problems with any of them. The truck has a 318 and a 4 speed granny transmission. I put a 24 gallon gas tank in because the original tank was leaking, other than some small changes to the interior the truck is all original.
