This is what you saw in the 80's.....right before they sat in everyones yard and rotted away or restored where they are 15k plus. This is not a show car obviously and it will take TLC to get there. Take it out on the road right now and burn the tires and paint it later if you want to. Its a 68 two door hardtop without the post. Will need lower quarters All the flootpans are rock solid except the driver side it will need a patch or replace it its up to you how you want it. Trunk pan has an amateur replacement done as you see in the pic. Rockers are nice and solid as well is the frame. I would replace the fenders they are cheep enough. I dont know were these seats came from but they are comfortable. It has a floor shift with console. It drives like it is on tracks the suspension is really tight. In the rear end is a 12 Bolt Posi with ladder bars and new shocks. Brakes are manual but are tight it stops on a dime. Engine is a 350 the casting number is 3970010 with 333882 Heads. The guy I bought it from said it has low miles on the rebuild and it is clean under the valve covers. The transmission has no issues and it a turbo 350...a very common tranny with a shift kit. I have not had the car long at all, honestly I had never owned a chevelle and thought it would be nice to drive one for a while. Its very dependable starts up every time and drives straight. The Fuel tank is new and the fuel guage works so does the speedometer, but the tach does not. Body lines are very good and the doors shut like new. Glass has no cracks and all roll down nice. I do not have the missing window trim pictured. Bid to win its a no reserve auction.
