Vehicle Detail
This is an 1965 Cyclone in great condition. Original California car with original HIPO 289 motor with 302 crank. Motor runs strong. It is quick off the line and I have had it to 110 mph and it wanted more. Trans was serviced three months ago and shifts great with No slipping. This is a solid car and can be driven 100 mph all day long! This car is a driver, so it is not perfect. It could be restored with minimal work though. I have enjoyed it for some time now and the attention it commands. It is time for a new chapter in its life with you at the wheel. Car has the optional power brakes with the original power brake pedal pad. Front brakes are disc. This motor has the Rare early factory FORD four barrel intake. Holly 650 carb with new K&N air filter. There is an inline fuel pressure regulator. With this the car gets about 15 mpg if you can help from keeping your foot off the gas pedal. Regulator can be easily removed. Northern (made in USA) Aluminum radiator, edelbrock water pump, optima gel battery with new battery tray, and lower motor mount brace cross member brace. Front suspension was gone through and aligned two months ago. This also has the Cyclone suspension. Nice and stiff, so no roll when cornering. Tires were new three months ago. This car has the optional fiberglass ram air hood, trunk lid, and bumpers front and rear. The hood is fully functioning. Seats, carpet, package tray, front door arm rests, dash pad, and steering wheel are new. Rear speaker grilles are new old stock with fresh Rangoon red paint. Original unrestored FoMoCo tach, seat belts, bucket seat backrest arm covers, console. All trim inside and out is original unrestored condition. Interior door panels and quarters are original unrestored condition. Dash is just beautiful. All gauges including tach work and illuminate. New Alpine stereo (ipod, iphone, mp3, hd radio, sat radio ready) mounted under dash using existing factory holes (can be removed without any evidence it was there). negatives: The car does have a crack in the lower right of the front windshield. There is some rust on the lower front passenger door and the lower rear passenger wheel well (this is the only rust I see on the car). Some paint damage on the front middle passenger door. If you have questions please ask before the close of the auction. I accept cashiers checks, money orders, or cash in person. I will deliver anywhere in Southern California free. Thanks and Good luck! On Sep-12-10 at 15:54:27 PDT, seller added the following information: For anyone wanting more picture, I can only put 24 on the auction, so I will have to email any more. Thanks: seven one four, eight five five, six two four seven. On Sep-15-10 at 23:03:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello all, Just wanted to add: This has the Pertronix pointless ignition in the distributor, so no adjusting points. The car starts very easy. There is barely any cranking. The motor fires immediately. I have had no problems with the car and it has been very dependable. Good Luck!
