I AM SELLING THIS VERY RARE COLLECTABLE PROJECT AGAINST MY WILL OR AT THE VERY LEAST "UNDER PROTEST".THE TRUTH IS I HAVE GOT MYSELF IN DEBT WITH MY WIFE AND A CLOSE FRIEND SO AS MUCH AS I HATE IT, I AM SELLING 3 OF THE 6 CAMARO'S THAT I SPENT THE BETTER PART OF 3 YEAR'S TRYING TO BUY. THIS COLLECTION OF VERY RARE AND COLLECTABLE RS & SS CAMARO'S HAD TAKEN A VERY NICE MAN THE BETTER PART OF THE LAST 30+ YEARS TO ACQUIRE SO WHEN HIS SON CHOSE TO SELL ME SEVERAL OF THEM I FELT HONORED. I'M STARTING WITH THIS1967 RS CAMARO THAT IS A FACTORY 4SPD AND 12 BOLT CAR. IT STILL HAS THE VERY RARE FACTORY "TORSION BAR" ATTACHED TO THE 12 BOLT REAR END. MOST OF THESE BARS WERE CUT OFF AND REPLACED WITH "TRACTION BAR'S" THROUGH THE YEARS OR SOLD TO COLLECTOR'S ONCE MUSCLE CAR'S BECAME SO POPULAR. THIS CAR CAME IN A "RARE" FACTORY GOLD PAINT WITH THE HIGHEST HORSEPOWER 327 OFFERED IN 67 SO ALONG WITH THE 4SPD AND 12 BOLT POSI THIS CAR WAS BUILT FOR PERFORMANCE ONLY. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURE'S CLOSELY BECAUSE THIS RS CAMARO NEED'S FULL RESTORATION AND I WANT ALL BIDDER'S TO BE SURE OF WHAT THEY ARE BIDDING ON. THE SUB FRAME ,FRAME RAIL'S,FRONT & REAR WINDOW AREA'S ARE ALL IN GOOD SHAPE SO IT WILL MAKE THE RESTORATION ALOT EASIER THAN ALOT OF OLDER CAMARO'S OUT THERE. THE ELECTIRC RS HEADLIGHT COVER'S AND MOTOR'S ARE IN TACT ON BOTH SIDE'S. ALL THE GLASS IS IN THE CAR AND OTHER THAN THE FRONT WINDSHIELD SEEM TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE. ALL THE FACTORY 4SPD , BRAKE AND GAS PEDAL'S ARE STILL IN THE CAR, THE STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN SEEM TO BE ORIGINAL TO THE CAR. THE 12 BOLT POSI AND FACTORY TORSION BAR ARE "FOR CERTAIN" THE ORIGINAL PART'S FROM THE DAY IT ROLLED OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE. THE LIP AROUND THE TRUNK THAT HOLDS THE WEATHER STRIPPING IS IN "UNBELIEVEABLE" SHAPE SINCE MOST WERE THE FIRST TO RUST AWAY. THE DECK LID ITSELF AND REAR PACKAGE TRY AREA ARE IN GOOD ENOUGH SHAPE THEY WONT NEED REPLACING AS WELL AS IS THE ENTIRE ROOF AREA. THE CAR WILL NEED FLOOR PANS ,THE FACTORY TRUNK PAN COULD EASILY BE PATCHED BUT I IMAGINE ANYONE DOING A FULL RESTORATION ON THIS RS WOULD REPLACE IT ANYWAY. I DO HAVE COMPLETE INTERIOR INCLUDING 2 BUCKET SEATS , AND BOTH UPPER AND LOWER REAR BENCH SEATS AS WELL AS A FACTORY FLAT 67 RS HOOD. ACCORDING TO ALL THE INFORMATION I GATHERED ON THIS CAMARO'S FACTORY TRIM TAB , IT CLEARLY STATES THAT THIS CAR CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH A 350 ENGINE WITH BOTH RALLY SPORT & SUPER SPORT OPTION'S. WHILE RESEARCHING THE TRIM TAB I DICOVERED THIS CAR ALSO CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH A BLACK VINYL TOP AND STILL HAS THE FACTORY HOLES FOR THE CHROME TRIM THAT BOARDER'S THE VINYL TOP. I GUESS THROUGH THE YEARS THE ORIGINAL MOTOR WAS REPLACED WITH A 327 AND THAT IS WHEN THE FENDER EMBLEM'S WERE REPLACED BUT THAT IS ONLY A GUESS. ACTUALLY PEOPLE DID STRANGE THING'S TO OLD MUSCLE CAR'S BACK THROUGH THE 70'S AND 80'S SO THERE REALLY IS NO WAY TO TELL OTHER THAN WHAT IS STILL ON THE CAR TODAY. SO SINCE THE 12 BOLT WITH THE SQUARE TORSION BAR , THE HIDE AWAY HEADLIGHTS , THE FACTORY 4 SPD PEDALS , SS STEERING WHEEL AND THE TRIM TAB ARE WHAT WE KNOW ARE FOR CERTAIN AND CAN VERIFY THAN I GUESS IT WOULD BE ACCURATE TO SAY THAT THIS CAMARO IS A "TRUE 1967 RS/SS CAMARO" FACTORY GRANADA GOLD WITH BLACK INTERIOR & BLACK VINYL TOP. After posting that information a dozen + people immediately contacted me and explained what this Camaro was and how it COULD NOT BE anything other than a L 30/ M 20 because of all the detail's I mentioned above. I am very sorry for any and all confusing detail's or statement's in my description. I have listed ALL the fact's , the TRIM TAB description is correct as well as the VIN #. I am going to post a couple of web site's you can go to and research for yourselve's and make your decision based on what you believe to be the fact's.
