1955 Bel Air 2dr hardtop Car shows 358 miles and was sold to my father-in-law in 1984 to be a right mile car. The car was sold to him by a Chevrolet dealer from the northeast Tennessee area that had been using the car as a display on the showroom. I am in NO WAY saying that I am a 1955-57 chevy expert or that there is any proof to the milage on car being correct. I can verify that the car has been stored inside a shop for the last 26 yrs purely as an investment and never saw the road. It was cranked and moved approx. a year and a half ago and ran flawlessly at that time. Everything worked all the way down to the original AM radio at that time. The factory GM oil filter kit is still in the original box, directions and all, in the trunk. Car has ABSOLUTELY ZERO rust. I have had people look at the car in the past and tell me it has all original interior and paint, there again I am no expert come look for yourself, it looks better in person I promise, nothing to hide. One thing I have been told is that only the very early serial number cars such as this one had one piece aluminum door strikers, this car still has them and they show little wear. A car like this doesn't come up for sale very often, 26 yrs since this one has been for sale. I need to sell the car and the reserve is very reasonable it WILL SELL if anyone gets serious with the $$$. Clear Mississippi title is in my wife's name and when titled to her 5 yrs ago there showed no record of the car ever being registered or titled before .Car has electric wipers, windshield washer, 265 2bbl, powerglide, continental kit, bumper gaurds, fender skirts, fingernail gaurds, and etc. It is all original or either NOS GM parts installed prior to 1984 You can look at dozens of other cars but it would be hard to find another this nice.
