1968 Chevy Impala FARM FRESH Due to WILDMAN468 deciding he can't afford the car after he bid on it this is a relist. I don't know how to tell this other than I had a very serious situation arise over the weekend. Their was no way to retract my bid that I knew of.If possible could we let this go to the next bidder? Do to this I won't have the funds to complete this transaction. Sorry, nice car would be a great car to restore. If you need to talk to me about this, feel free to call me. Please people I do not have a set price on the car so YOU decide what YOU can afford. I need these cars sold and do not have time for B/S stories. If you are man enough to bid be a man and pay for your car. Sorry just tired of people not following through with there obligations. Listed is my 1968 Chevy Impala SS396 4-speed car that I have owned for years. This car sat in my pasture for the last 7+ years. I pulled her out last spring and got her on her feet again. At that time I gave her a good tune up, changed ALL the brakes and hardware, put in a new U joint, installed all new wheel bearings and changed the oil/filter and the fuel filter. The car runs GREAT. With this said I would trailer the car home as it has not been driven more than 25 miles in the last 15 years. As you will see, the body is very solid. I was told when I bought the car that the engine and interior were re-done back in 1983. I have no paper work to verify this, but the way the car runs, sounds, and looks I have little doubt. You could get away with just a paint job and you would have a nice driver, however, as hard as it is to find these cars in this condition I think the car should have a frame off restoration. I wanted to do this, just never got the time to do it. I was looking through the pictures and they are a little dark from the glare of the sun. The car, in my opinion, looks a lot better in person . The bumpers are real nice and in the pics the look pitted (just dirt and grass clipping). The trunk looks dark and its hard to see but it is also pretty nice for the year. I have several cars listed this week as I did last week.(all 5 sold) I will be listing my house in the near future and will not have room to bring 15 extra cars when we move. This is a GREAT chance to pick up an unrestored muscle car (or two) plus it gives you all winter to get it done. Now for the best part. This is a NO RESERVE auction and I will NOT end the auction early. So needless to say the high bidder wins the auction. I need a 25% deposit no later than 3 days after the auctions end with the balance due within 7 days. ALL vehicles are being sold AS IS WHERE IS. You (the buyer) are responsible for ALL transportation fees. I have worked with many transport companies and can help arrange shipping for you. I have a clean and clear title in hand PLEASE NO TRADES and NO PAYPAL PAYMENTS On Sep-01-10 at 16:44:44 PDT, seller added the following information: First off thank you for all the questions on this car. I had a person fly in today to look over the cars I have listed. He checked this car out and looked at the numbers ( didn't tell me much) But did confirm to me that it is a NUMBERS MATCHING car. I do not know the HP and I forgot to mention the car still has the original 12 bolt rear end. The VIN # is 164878J26xxxx I hope this answers a lot of questions on this neat old muscle car
