Red Cabrio GLS for sale by owner. I have driven this Cabrio daily since 10/31/1999. There was one owner before me. I purchased the car for $16,900 at Butler Volkwagen in Macon, GA. The car had about 34k miles on it when I bought it; I've put the remainder on with a 2-mile daily commute and the occasional high way drive. I had one semi-major wreck in the car in 2000 (I ran into a ditch at about 35MPH and damaged the front end), no accidents since then or problems with the repairs. I've replaced the transmission twice; the current transmission has about 5000 miles on it. I had someone disable the alarm in 2005 because it was faulty; there's a photo from where they disabled it. The a/c works, but it gets backed up and I have to have it unclogged and recharged at the beginning of summer. Cosmetically, the top needs to be replaced. There is a flap from an attempted break-in (before they realized Cabrios aren't just rag-tops), and the seam has come apart this year, which I patched with tape. The strips have come off of the sides of the car, but I have them, I just can't figure out how to stick them back on. There is one split in the leather. You can see all of this in the photos. I have the manuals, I think I only have one key but I'll look around. I have some records here and there but it's basically oil changes, tire replacements, brakes, the 2 transmissions, and work after my wreck. This car drives good and is a rare red GLS. It's the perfect car to recondition and flip next spring. There is a low reserve. Any questions let me know! Jen
