This is a 1961 Ford Falcon 2 door hardtop Futura, this car is 100 % Original clear down to the first owners dash plaque still on the dash, The front fenders in front of the doors has been repaired and needs it again as well as just above the rear wheels, That is it, Floor boards and truck are still coated with paint as you can see in the pictures, the back seat is ok, the front seats need recovered due to tears as it is original seats. This car has bucket seats and the toaster oven middle council. Now the motor is a 170 straight 6 cylinder with a two speed Fordamatic transmission, Brakes are new on the front, steering is as tight as it was in 1961, tires are good and one brand new one. I would drive this car about anywhere, it is solid and the motor runs good, probably could use a tuneup and a carb kit sooner or later but I would not be afraid to drive this car from state to state. All the gauges work as does the original radio, It does have a CD player in it under the dash. You will not fine one this original and in this good of shape. The title has been ok'd to be released as it is in safe keeping at my bank, I would require a $1500 down payment prior to pickup to release the title, rest of payment could be upon pickup and you will receive a clear title and this beautiful car, There are a few scratches in the paint here and there, I did repaint this car 4 years ago and the inside of the doors and lids dont quite match the original color, there was a mixup getting the paint and I just kept it as the car was already painted. All decals and chrome are present, the bumpers show some pitting wear. Any questions please ask, I do have a reserve on this car as it has been in my family for years and I will not let it go for less than the reserve, The reserve is a low value reserve for this type of car. Thank you I almost forgot, all the manuals and guides are with this car, I also should mention on the right rear quarter panel behind the wheel, someone nudged the car and left a dent on the bottom, it is not cut or creased and could easily be fixed I am sure.On Sep-06-10 at 08:54:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I will clarify my bank situation to ease minds, My bank is a sticky bank, They will not release the title to me or the new owner until, a note is paid for (that is why the downpayment) Once the down payment is received the bank will provide the title. They have done some changes with the economy the way it is. They have stated with the payment of the note, they will release the title to two of my cars, This car being one of them. It will be free and clear. I am an honest person and am taking my banks word they will release it. They have no reason to hold it once payment is received. Any questions please ask.
