I bought this Jetta about a year ago from another eBay user. Since then, it's been completely reliable. Only significant work has been a clutch replacement about 10k miles ago. It has 16" Antera wheels, which I got mainly so I could put snow tires on the stock steel wheels. If the auction goes over $1000, I'll throw those in- Bridgestone Blizzak with very few miles on them. It's been a good second car, but I had to get a truck and I don't want to have three cars sitting around. As with all older VW's, the electrics are a bit fiddly. In this particular case, the coolant light and the airbag light turn on from time to time. When the car was in the shop for the clutch, my mechanic looked at both, and said it was sensor related. The temperature never climbs higher then the center of the gauge. The car is a repaint by the previous owner, but there's only a few spots on the exterior where you can tell.
