For sale is a 1983 Honda 650 custom. It is a two-cylinder water-cooled bike, and has a surprising amount of power for a 2cylinder 650cc. I've been riding this bike for the summer, and it can be ridden today. But there are a few things that need to be done to make it perfect. I have a clear Ohio title ready to be transferred. The Good: The body is in good shape with no rust The chrome (pipes, fenders, mirrors) looks good The seat is in great shape with no tears The bike runs strong The tires have good tread on them The bike handles really well It has a new battery and spark plug wires I just changed the oil It has a brand new battery I just cleaned the carburetors It comes with a matching helmet The Bad: The bike starts hard despite a new battery. Sometimes it sounds like the starter might need to be replaced The tachometer doesn't work Two of the rubber turnsignal stems are cracking The plastic fusebox cover has a small crack. (I repaired it so it is fully functional, but you can still see the little crack) So you may consider this a project bike because there is a little to be done, but it can be safely ridden today, and I have been riding it this summer. Buyer is responsible for picking the bike up, but I may be able to deliver it to the northern Ohio area or along I-96 in Michigan for a reasonable fee.
