PROJECT CAR 1961 Cadillac DeVille We bought this car to restore but then unexpectedly bought a house. We now do not have the extra money to restore this baby. It makes me sad to have to get rid of her but all of our extra time and cash is now going into our home. It took me over a year but i finally decided to sell the old gal and let someone else bring her back to life. We pulled her out of the Ozark mountains and she needs some work. There is very minimal rust and her body is straight and most all the chrome is there. I think she is just missing a few small pieces like a 'DeVille" name plate. One or two very small bullet holes from where a dumb kid who thought he was Elvis used her for target practice. Also was used for many years by Ozark Mountain Squirrels to store their Walnuts. The interior needs much help. Has all orginal parts. We are the SECOND owner and the title is clear but titled as off road d/t its need for restoration. The origional owner used this car as a limousine and lived in Oklahoma City. I like to imagine this car hauling around some famous "Honkey Tonkers". At one point the car was parked under a car port next to a home that caught on fire. The car was NOT IN the fire itself but the heat has melted the glass/windows and caused some discoloration to the drivers side panel but it is in good shape. This car DOES come with a VINTAGE back window (cost me $300.00) for replacement as the orginal is busted out. I ordered the window and had it shipped to me. It is still in its shipping package as I did not open it upon arrival. Car Specs: 1961 4 door Hard top Automatic transmission Mileage 84172 Accept Paypal or cash and is for Local PICKUP only. This car needs to be placed on a trailor for transport. We have NOT tried to turn it over. The guy we bought it from said "it ran when i parked her".
