Offered for auction is a 1967 Cadillac DeVille Convertible. This car belonged to an elderly gentleman who passed away and is being sold by his nephew. The car was always garaged and maintained. The rear quarter panels have had body work done but the rest of the body appears to be in good shape with the usual dings and scrapes of a car this age. The paint is not original and is an older paint job. The motor is a 429 cubic in. V-8 which runs great with no knocks, clicks or rattles. The motor was rebuilt some time ago, but only has a few thousand miles on the rebuild. The rebuild was done by an old school mechanic known for his work, who has since retired. The transmission is solid and shifts as it should. The convertible top is in very good condition as well as the rear glass window. The car can be seen and test driven by appointment. It was used almost daily, except in winter, before the passing of it's owner and is still started weekly. The car sale also includes front and rear re-chromed bumpers that the original owner never got to install. Also included are the many used parts (seen in pictures) too many to list. The car is located in northeast PA, junction of I-80 & I-81. Because of its age, this car is being sold as is ( NO warranties). The car must be paid in full at time of pickup. NO PAYPAL PAYMENT ACCEPTED. The the car has a clear PA title which must be transferred to the buyer before leaving seller's property. This is a great car for someone who would like a convertible, to fix without a lot of restoration work, just to enjoy in summertime. Or a great car for the base of a total restoration.
