Up for Auction A 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 lifted I bought this truck off a local in bad shape. I put a lot of time and money into this to get it back to the shape that it is in. I have rebuilt the whole front end due to the previous owner not keeping up on the maintence on the steering parts. It was not wrecked when i bought. They had driven it with ball joints out for a long time and it wore on all the other parts. I replaced the ball joints sway bar, pitman arm, drag link, tie rod ends, new steering box, brake pads, brake lines, axel seals, actuator gasket, diff cover gasket (front and rear). changed fluid in both diff and replaced with lucas gear lube. New plugs, K&N air filter, carpets were just shampooed, new thrush muffler, and exhaust tips, rebuilt valve body and new bands in transmition. Also front end was alined at local shop. All fluids have been changed. It has a six inch rancho suspension lifted, and a 3inch body lifted. This thing is huge. The only bad things i can think to list is, there is minor rust on the undernieth side of drivers door which i have sprayed with a rubberized coating and then painted white, a small rust hole under drivers door that can be seen in pictures, it is a truck so it has some small dings, and rock chips, the dash has a crack on divers side that can be seen in pics, although carpets were cleaned some minor stains would not come up, the ash tray is broken on the back side. I'm am still working on the lights that are on the dash the service engine light is on i think it is the o2 sensor that i am getting ready to change, the ABS light is on, and the brake light is on but i think this is from fluid level sensor is bad. All in all for the year and miles this thing is in decent shape and it is a real head turner. Does not use any oil, no smoke what so ever and shifts strong. Tires have around 70% tread left and are 36/15.50/15. This truck is also listed locally so i have the right to end auction at any time if sold locally. Thanks and good luck This thing is a monster!!!
