This is a professionally built 1939 ford truck.The builder has been featured in rod and custom,rodders digest and streetrodder magazines.Best of show last 5 shows.This is a traditionally built truck,not a rat.The truck starts,steers,stops,rides great. POSSIBLE TRADES ON A NICE CHOPPED AND CHANNELED MODEL A SEDAN THAT IS THE SAME STYLE,FLAVOR AND CONDITION(NO FLATHEADS)POSSIBLE TRADES ON A NICE ANGLIA(48 BODY STYLE) I DONT WANT CRAP SO IF YOU THINK IT MIGHT BE CRAP,DONT OFFER.I DONT HAVE JUNK NOR DO I INTEND TO TRADE FOR JUNK.The truck now has the v8 hubcaps on all 4 wheels. The cab has been channeled 4".The top has been chopped 4" in the front, 5" in the rear.The cab has all new DOT SAFETY GLASS.Door glass needs to be installed, finally got it from the glass guy.The windshield tilts out for ventilation.The bed is a shortened long bed,it is approx 3'x3'.The cab has a finished floor inside and is safe and exhaust free. The frame is 2 x 4 boxed steel 1/4" wall.The kick up on the rear is 17" total.The front is all 38 ford car beam with juice brakes.The spring has been relocated behind the axle.The front end and rear all track well and is properly and professionally aligned.The steering is suicide set up with a jeep cherokee steering box and sprint style steering column with quick release.the seat is a cut down nissan pathfiner seat with a mexican blanket.Most of the inside of the cab is covered in license plates. The pinstripes are old school and done by a nationally recognized pinstriper.The paint is PPG urethane that has been "weathered".The truck and parts was media blasted inside and out.The front whees are artillary 1938 wide 5(one wheel does have a bounce at about 70mph.The rears are 7" wide chevrolet.The rear is chevrolet 10 bolt with 373 gears.The rear uses 1938 ford radius rods and coil springs with a panhard bar.All fluids have been recently changed. The engine is small block chevrolet with a noisy pete jackson,lunati 488 lift cam,elgin rods and lifters and pushers,the carb is edelbrock,the engine is chromed and leak free.The trans is a 700r with overdrive.Aluminum intake(painted) the radiator is a 5 core with electric fan,with a trans cooler.New waterpump,alt,intake,carb,all gaskets,battery,etc new speedo and cable.Shorty headers 3" pipe and flowmaster single chamber exhaust.exhaust is 3" from front to rear.TRUCK SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!! The truck rides,drives,shows,performs awesome.The truck is a crowd pleaser every time.The truck is featured on Rat Rod TV as we speak.The truck was photographed heavely at HEAVY REBEL WEEKENDER this past july in Winston Salem NC and was featured on TV for winning A BEST OF SHOW at the Friends of Coal Auto Fair in july.(out of 500 cars) The truck is currently inspected,tagged,licensed,insured in Va.The truck has no dissapointments or ever layed down on me.I have a 5 year old and we have been thousands of trouble free miles in it.I am sure i am missing something,so email questions.The complete build can be seen on the youtube channel.......AMERICANRUSTREVIVAL...The youtube videos are the first time the truck has ever been out.The entire build is only 6 months old and everything is new.Email for specific pics.
