Vehicle Detail

1963 Porsche 356 B (T-6) Vin # 125073 with 100583 miles is a great solid driver car with a new motor. The motor was rebuilt completely with new bearings, new set of nickasil Mahle pistons and liners and a fresh set of cylinder heads that were virgin with no fly cutting and cracks repaired. Refer to the ad at the bottom as we built the motor and Joe knows how to build them. The motor has a fresh set of Weber carbs. The overhaul bill on the motor was a little over $10,000. The driving of this car is excellent with transmission working perfectly and also quiet, The new motor really pushes the car around with 105(SAE) horsepower up from the original 60 HP, and the car goes straight down the road and handles correctly and stops straight. The body is straight on this car and matching panels that are stamped "073" for the last 3 digits of the Vin # and the hood has never been kinked at the hinges or repaired. The paint has a few minor flaws as an older paint job and it looks like the car has had one repaint. There is some slight bubbling in the base of the door on the passenger side. There is some bubbling in the chrome on the right blinker. The rest of the chrome on the car is good and will shine up with chrome polish. The floor and battery box and rockers on this car are original and solid. It does have some very small rust issues at the area where the heater cans attach to the body but these will not be bad to repair. The body shows no sign of any major repairs in the past and this is a good tub. This car also has the optional fresh air blower where a electric squirrel cage fan is mounted up in the battery box and forces fresh air through the air control vents to the driver compartment and we almost never see this and I have only seen two or three in my 36 years in the Porsche Business. This option means a lot on a hot summer day with a lot of air moving through the car. Interior is in red and it is in good condition with no rips or tears or worn places. Carpet is good. The car has the original AM/FM/ Shortwave radio with the original speakers and speaker grills. The 356 has a new set of Michelin XZX tires in great condition. This car is a great little driver and is also a rolling savings account as values on these cars will always go up with time. We can assist in transport to anywhere at reasonable rates. Car is sold "as is" with no warranties expressed or implied. Any questions call Joe 866 356 2996 Joe Cogbill Tollfree 866 356 2996 ext 126 Local # 706 865 5200 ext 126 Fax 706 865 5250.
