1969 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE CANDY APPLE RED 3 SPEED PROJECT!!! I have for sale a 1969 Mustang Convertible, it is a 302, 3 speed car. This car will need total restoration , but it is the car to do!! The vehicle is a complete running car with its original engine and tranny. This car is low production only a few C.A red, red on red, 3sp, 302 mustang convertible's made. This vehicle will need metal work underneath floors, ect. I am not a metal guy so if you can come see the car that would be your best bet. The body is not in bad shape need a few patches here and there,trunk is nice needs a few small hole repairs. The top does not leak but is coming undone around back window as seen in pictures. The interior is in nice driver shape could use seat covers,steering wheel pad,missing a few small parts,ect. There is a new rug installed over a poor patch job on the floors. Once again the motor runs strong,clutch and brakes need ajustment, the top will work but motor seems weak so do not want to lower top down. The Good: This car is a running complete rare car that would be worth restoring!! The tires are BF Goodrich and are in new like condition. The car has a new gas tank,sending unit and filler hose, might need new fuel line do not want not hook up till they get flushed.The car has nice glass,original am radio and still retains its original hub caps in very nice shape. It has the vin tag and door tag in place, i do have the Marti Report and a clear title. This car has many recent parts: hoses,starter cylnoid,alt,ect and is ready to be restored. I have a very low reserve for a rare car of this caliber. THIS CAR WOULD BE PERFECT FOR A SHELBY CLONE!!!!
