1972 Honda CB

Up for auction here is a 1972 CB 750 four. One of the best motorcycles ever produced. This bike is in running condition. I will list all of the things I have done. Fresh Red paint (was brown) Complete tune up including a valve adjustment, cam chain adjustment, new oem breaker point plate assy, new battery, carbs were removed and cleaned, new pilot jets and bowl gaskets. The carbs could use a synch adjustment, It runs good, but is a little rough on idle. New caliper seal. I have a new master cylinder rebuild kit, I did not install it. The brake seems to work fine. The engine starts right away with no smoke or noises. There is fresh honda Gn4 oil and a honda filter in. I replaced the old hard side cover grommets with new honda items. The fuel petcock was replaced also with a new honda part. and the gas cap lock also. The exhaust system is in pretty fair shape. There are no rust holes. There is some surface rust forming which I chose not to try to clean. The four small end baffles are not there, and it is missing the right side heat shield. The charging system is working fine. The turn signal alarm is also working. The orignal owners manual and tool kit are under the seat. This a pretty solid OHC 750. Items that do need attention are, The rear tire will need replaced, There is a slight bit of play in the swingarm bushings. The pin that holds the gas cap is not the correct pin. The machine has a little rust on her here and there but is not to bad for it's age. I chose not to clean at the chrome for fear of making it worse. I have been slowly working on this bike for 2 years.I Just took it down the road this past Sunday and it worked great. I would prefer that this bike be picked up in person, but I can help with shipping. I have a clear title in hand although it says the bike is a 1973, the mfg date on the vin tag says 11/71. I will accept a Pay pal deposit of $500.00 at auction end. And full payment of cash in person or certified funds 5 days after. I can store the bike if full payment is made. Another couple of notes, The gas tank is clean inside(no kreem liner) and the seat is in good shape, but the seat chrome trim has some peeling of the clear plastic.
