1965 DODGE CORONET 440 Up for auction here is one 1965 Dodge Coronet 440. It was a racecar many years ago, and has sat for some time. It was originally a turquoise color, but, at some point later has been painted blue. There IS a clear title with this car! There is NO motor or transmission. There is an 8 3/4" rear in this car, with an open, non-posi rear. I am not sure of the ratio, but it's probably a highway gear. The interior in this car has many of the original pieces! The instrument cluster looks good, and so does the glove box. The floor pans are shot, and will need replaced. There is a racing seat in this car, equipped with straps, which I am sure are about 20 years out of date. The shifter is out of a Aspen. The headliner is still intact, (but a bit saggy) in this car. All the original glass is in the car, and looks good! The front fenders have rust in the back, down near the bottom. The rear quarters will need the lower sections replaced. Inside the rear quarters, the inner fenderwells have been cut to allow for slicks. The trunk does have some surface rust, but no rust through on the main section. The trunk extensions will need replaced. The frame looks good. Under the hood, on both sides near the front, there is rust. On the firewall, in the back, near the center is an area about the size of a fifty cent piece where there is rust. On the cowl, there are some areas of rust. All the chrome is still on this car! The hood and trunk lid have both been lightened up by cutting out the reinforcement metal on the undersides. Both the hood and trunk lid have clip attachments. The car has rally wheels, (three are on the car, and one is laying inside, I am lazy). So, if YOU want this 1965 Dodge Coronet 440, don't delay: BID NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
